I guess I'm not the only one in that PR state of mind following the release of NY's Finest.
Every time the Soul Brother #1 puts something out, I'm instantly reminded how masterful his work is. If you haven't heard NY's Finest, be sure to take some time to give it a good listen. A true Pete Rock fan will feel right at home.
The omnipresent AaronM puts together a ridiculous compilation for HHIR of rarities, non-album cuts, remixes, and b-sides from one of the greatest duos the genre has produced. Shouts to everyone over at Hip Hop Is Read, Metal Lungies, and Rock The Dub.
